Dua Lipa's multi-day wedding to actor Callum Turner is undoubtedly turning out to be the wedding of summer - the chat just hasn't stopped about it! And while we have already seen some stunning pictures of their civil ceremony in London, the strict media ban of their three-day, $1.7 million wedding celebrations in Palermo, Sicily means we are still left guessing of all the intricate details. 1. The Bridal Look: Ditching the Wedding Gown for Couture Tailoring

Our first style takeaway is how Dua completely bypassed the traditional wedding dress for her civil ceremony, wearing a stunning tailored look, and is no doubt going to see the trend for both registry office weddings and two-part weddings, as well as tailored bridal suits go stratospheric over the next season. The ivory custom Schiaparelli suit with gold bijoux buttons and asymmetrical skirt was designed by Daniel Roseberry and accessorised with a Bulgari Serpenti chain. A blush-coloured corset and hip padding was integrated into the jacket to give the look added sculpted shape while Dua's chic wedding bouquet of Gen Z-coded pastel Icelandic poppies made for her monobloom arrangement. A white hat, opera gloves and pointed Christian Louboutin pumps completed the look - and if this is not simply the most perfect balance of vintage glamour and modern cool we don't know what is? 2. The Drama: A Fabulous Hat instead of a Veil

Meanwhile, instead of a veil the bride opted for the ultimate wide-brimmed statement hat by iconic British milliner Stephen Jones, which brings us to our second style takeaway: Statement hats for brides. While we can't say that Dua sparked the wedding hat trend - wedding hats including fedoras, boaters and panamas have seen quite the revival recently and you can find lots more inspiration here - we love the idea of a new rush on Irish milliners as brides opt to go bespoke and individual, as in times past. 3. The Venue: Making Townhall Weddings Chic Again

If the wedding hat and suit were not enough of a nod to a three month pregnant Bianca Jagger in YSL at her 1971 St Tropez wedding to Mick (see above), the gorgeousness of the iconic Marylebone Registry Office (Old Marylebone Town Hall) and the paparazzi black and white photographs of the couple emerging on the steps in a cloud of confetti afterwards, cemented the vintage-coded references as the ultimate cool-girl aesthetic. 4. The Groom: Callum Turner's Tone on Tone Suiting

Callum's suiting was just as deliberate and fashion-forward as Dua Lipa's bridal look, and no doubt will spark many a clean silhouetted groom this summer. Choosing sophisticated tailoring that blended perfectly the retro and the contemporary, the ensemble, by Ferragamo, featured a structured, double-breasted jacket, heavily accentuated shoulders and wide lapels which was paired with matching navy shirt and tie, and was the perfect foil to allow Dua’s avant-garde Schiaparelli look to shine. When the wedding festivities shifted to Palermo, Sicily, Calum wore a breezy, cream-coloured linen suit by Jacquemus before returning to Louis Vuitton for a second, khaki-toned ceremony. 5. The Beauty Look - Euro Summer Skin
