A Guide to Using Anthuriums for your Wedding

• While they all look similar, anthurium varieties are extremely diverse: they are available in a wide range of sizes and versions but the most popular are the Marea tulip-shaped anthurium, the Zizou and Lilli ribbon-shaped anthurium, the heart-shaped anthurium, the Peruzzi cup-shaped anthurium, as well as the Mystique and Marijke veined anthurium varieties.
• Anthuriums are one of the most wilt-resistant flowers around, making case for the perfect summer wedding flower.
• Anthuriums are available all year round making them a great addition for any season, but as they are not native flowers to Ireland and the UK, they will have to be imported - something to be aware of if you're aiming for an environmentally conscious wedding. Depending on where you live, they may not be the most sustainable choice.
